Cooking Instructions
For Model S-10 and Model S-20 Cookers

Screw legs in base of cooker with the longest legs in the rear.

Remove all tape from angles and racks inside and outside before using.

Models S-10 and S-20 have dual controls for cooking different types of foods. A percentage timer is mounted on the control box to be used when cooking pork, beef and chicken. It can be turned from 100% "OFF" to 100% "ON". To use the percentage timer, turn the knob on the thermostat to 550 degrees, then set the percentage timer at the most desired cooking speed. For pork, beef and chicken 60-70% may be the best cooking speed . Increase the percentage timer for faster, decrease for slower cooking times. Then place the main switch on rear of cooker to the "ON" position to put the machine in operation. Increase the percentage on the dial for full loads and decrease for partial loads of meat.

If the product cooking is to be "Smoked", place desired wood in the tube before loading cooker. The smoker will only operate when the main switch is in the "ON" position. You can smoke your product while cooking or after it has been cooked. To smoke it after the product has been cooked, leave main switch "ON" position and turn the percentage timer to the "OFF" position. Then turn smoker switch to the "ON" position. When desired smoked flavor is completed turn the smoker and main switch to the "OFF" position.

To use the cooker as a baking unit, turn the main switch to the "ON" position. Then set the percentage timer to 100% "ON". Then set the thermostat at the cooking temperature you desire. When all cooking is completed, turn the main switch to the "OFF" position.
